Purpose

This page is provided in accordance with Google Play requirements and should be read together with the BizTrek Privacy Policy. It explains how users can request deletion of their BizTrek account and associated personal data.

How to Request Deletion

Users may request deletion of their BizTrek account in one of the following ways:

Option 1: Delete Your Account Within the App

If you have access to your BizTrek account:

  1. Open the BizTrek app
  2. Navigate to Profile
  3. Select Delete Account
  4. Review the deletion warning and confirm your request

Once confirmed, your account will be queued for deletion and processed in accordance with the timelines below.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access your account, you may request deletion by email:

  1. Email support@idryve.co.za
  2. Use the subject line: BizTrek Account Deletion Request
  3. Include the following details:
    • Full name
    • Email address or phone number used to register
    • Business name linked to the account, if applicable

Requests are verified to protect user security.

Processing Time

Deletion requests are processed within 7 to 30 business days after verification.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful processing, BizTrek will permanently delete:

  • User account and profile information
  • Business profiles and operational data created in the app
  • App usage data and internal records
  • Uploaded documents and notes
  • Authentication and login credentials

Data That May Be Retained

In line with the BizTrek Privacy Policy and applicable South African law, the following data may be retained:

  • Financial or transactional records where legally required
  • Security and audit logs necessary for compliance

Retention Period

Any retained data is stored securely and deleted once the legally required retention period expires. This period will not exceed 5 years, unless otherwise required by law.

Important Information

  • Account deletion is permanent
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered
  • Access to BizTrek services will end once deletion is complete
